help get the disabled lamb to the sanctuary in VT

Donation protected
Hi! Here is a lamb that was born in North Dakota in February during a very cold snap. When the owner went out to check on them he discovered a momma had gave birth and the 1st one was frozen solid. They were not suppose to be born til march . This one here had his ears and parts of his both back legs had frozen also.
The farmer brings it in to see if he can save him. He soon realized this little guy had such a will to survive so he put it out with its mom and they were so happy. He nursed and eventually learned how to get around to keep up with his flock.
In June we get a call regarding him. We go pick him up ( 2 hours 1 way) so he wouldn't end up at the butcher. The kids ( ages 16,7 and 5 years old) immediately sprang into action to save this little guy!
When we saw him, our hearts sank bc I knew we had no way to care for him in the winter other than a pen in the garage unless he could start getting around better. Well he gets around better but we won't have safe space for him in the winter. He could get stepped on by the other sheep in the building which would be heartbreaking.
We get him home and we immediately make back leg stump protectors for him. The right leg is about 4 inches shorter than the other back leg so we made modifications to those so he could learn to use both back legs rather than keeping 1 of the legs tucked by his belly. He made a lot of progress but we still felt we could do more for him. So we made a rear wheel chair for him and bound his short leg to the side of it so he got use to using it. Worked great til I realized he could not lay down. Took that off and left stump protectors on and each week we opened the bottom up a little more so he could build up a callous faster. It worked well. He is such a surviver.
He has complete freedom here, no fences, he roams wherever he wants.
My 7 year old son who is autistic has really bonded well with llama llama and they both enjoy spending time with each other. I think they have both learned a lot from each other. Sounds weird but I think my son has gained a new level of understanding disabilities and not giving up.
He is shy. He has 2 names.. Llama Llama and lamb'er jammer. He loves Graham crackers and loose minerals.
Now, the issue at hand is he has a placement he can go to in Vermont. It is a sanctuary where they animals can live out their life, happy and content. It is at the little red barn farm sanctuary. Only problem is it is 3200 miles round trip! We have not had any luck finding other to help bunny hop him there so we are going to drive him there where we know he will be much happier come winter . He will be safe and with other sheep.
We are hoping to meet our goal so we can deliver him and be home before school starts. The kids need to see him at his new environment so they are at peace with him being not with us.
Please share with all your friends and family so we can meet our goal and make arrangements. Tyvm ! And thanks in advance for sharing / donating !
If you have any questions please reach out to us. I don't know if we can put our phone number in here or not so to be on the safe side I will leave it off.
Will post more pictures if I can figure that part out .
