Help get Stephanie and Cail medical support

Hi, my name is Amber - and I am fundraising for a family in crisis. Stephanie Lawson, a devoted mother of a beautiful autistic boy, is fighting for medical care for her son. With a unique situation and constant advocating, the health care system is failing them both. At 12 years old, Cail now needs to be admitted into a facility for 24/7 support however, the only place that can accept him is in Saskatchewan which will displace their family from their home for 3 months.

The financial impact of this situation from traveling between hospitals across western Canada has left her family in a dire financial situation. She is now turning to her local food banks for support and trying to access family programs. Stephanie has been a pillar of her community for many years and is a well known advocate for children on the spectrum. I'm hoping we as a community to pull together and help support them in their time of need. Anything will help them at this point and hopefully she can focus on getting her son the help he desperately needs.
