I'm reaching out today to ask for help for our beloved cat, Smaug. Smaug is not just a pet; she's a part of our family, and her playful, adventurous spirit has brought so much joy to our lives.

Unfortunately, Smaug recently suffered a severe injury—a blown ACL—that has left her in pain and unable to enjoy the things she loves most. After consulting with our vet, we've learned that Smaug will likely need surgery to repair her ACL. Without it, she won’t be able to walk, jump, or play like she used to. The surgery is essential to give her the quality of life she deserves, but the costs are overwhelming. Between the surgery, medication, and follow-up care, the total is more than I can manage on my own.
