Help Get Shocka to Keno's Animal Sanctuary

Shocka was surrendered to the shelter at 8 years old after living with his family since he was a puppy. He was a beloved family dog, and over a year and a half later, Shocka still finds himself waiting at the shelter for his new family. Shocka isn't adapting well to the shelter life, so we're seeking sanctuary placement for this sweet boy.

Shocka, being a dog who is always on high alert, takes a bit of time to get comfortable around new people. Staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to win him over, and after a bit of time, they were successful. Shocka began going on daily walks and really coming into his own. After countless posts on social media searching for an experienced Shepherd owner to adopt him, the team was unable to find a home best suited for Shocka's needs. Multiple rescues were contacted throughout the country. Some rescues offered courtesy posts on their social media profiles, but to no avail could placement be found.

After more unsuccessful attempts to find Shocka a home, finding a sanctuary was the next option. Keno's Animal Sanctuary agreed to take Shocka on. A lifetime of care is costly, but this is his only chance at freedom. Shocka deserves the chance to spend his life resting and running freely.
