As you may or may not know I am currently serving in a worship pastor position at Life Church East Bay in Concord California. Almost 7 years before moving here I went through a program called Adult & Teen Challenge. God used one of the lowest points in my life to change my future and capture my heart. I knew early on that my life would never be the same, he had freed me from addiction and I wanted to share his goodness the best way that I knew how. Two years later God used New Hope Christian College to train me as a worship leader, it was there that I learned to be an exemplary ambassador for Christ. 

I have been given a special opportunity to go on a short-term mission trip with a program called Christ For the City International.  We are going to serve the people of Costa Rica. Our primary work project is on the Transformation Center in La Carpio, noted as one of the worst ghettos in Costa Rica. Our team from Life Church will be working on the roof, electrical repair, general cleaning, the kitchen, and minor repairs. 

While we are there we will visit a few of the ministry sites that operate year round. There are multiple ministry activities that we will be involved with. You can go to the cfci.org website and look under Carpio and Pavas as the primary areas but we may also serve at Tirrasses and Renecer.

The mission trip is from March 8th-16th. 

I am writing to ask for your prayers and support. God has given me such excitement for this trip because I've always known that I want to make a difference. I feel called to go to Costa Rica because I desperately want to help those that are in need. I am intrigued with serving in this capacity because it was a God given mission that introduced me to Jesus. 

In order to go on this mission trip, I need to raise approximately $1,500.  

This amount covers my round trip flight, food, lodging, transportation in the country, our interpreters and hosts cost, some of the ministry expenses and my food on travel days.

I need to raise this amount by March 1st, 2019. That gives me a total of 51 days to raise the funds. 

I ask that you would prayerfully consider sponsoring me financially? God has already provided for me in so many ways, I am believing in faith that he will provide for me once again. (He's soooo good like that)
If 30 people donate $50 I will meet my financial needs.
