Sabrina is my closest friend and somebody who truly embodies the idea of being the 'salt of the earth'.

Since meeting Sabrina in 2016, they have always been there for me when I needed them most. They have assisted me when I needed help with moving, travel, and when my dog passed away. They have rescued countless animals with the help of local rescue groups. They have been an advocate and supporter of so many important community projects, such as a Better Tent City, and rallies to support human rights. They are someone who would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it.

Now they need some help, too.

On August 28th, Sabrina's sole and only means of transportation -- their 2006 Honda Civic -- had its last drive. Unexpectedly, the engine malfunctioned and Sabrina has been told by mechanics that the car is unsalvagable. This means that Sabrina is unable to get to their job, which is inaccessible by public transportation, putting their livelihood at risk. They cannot visit their family who live far away.

Like many of us, Sabrina is living within the best means that they can -- but they simply are unable to afford the lump sum cost of purchasing a used vechicle with the current economic crisis, and inflation on both used and new vechicles.

Proceeds from this Go Fund Me will be given entirely to Sabrina so they may purchase a used vechicle so that they can continue to make a living, and be a pillar of the community.
