Help Get Rudy Out of Jail

I've only known Rudy for 6 weeks, but in that time I've grown to love him as a brother. He's an amazingly kind man who is actively working to get his life back on track and continue growing as a person. Like most of us he's encountered a lot of set backs and obstacles in life. We all make mistakes that can keep us trapped in a cycle of struggle, but Rudy has been making a point to pull himself out of that pattern and create a better life for himself, his friends, and his family. Regrettably, a shadow from his past has recently come back to make him pay for his mistakes.

After a personal argument with his father the cops were called on him, and he was arrested early Thursday morning on March 14th under a failure to appear in court warrant. As it turns out, I'm unable to bail him out through a bondsman, because I haven't known him long enough. Additionally, his family is unwilling to help, because they're the ones who gave him up. Although the family he grew up with may not have faith in him he has a new family who does.

Unfortunately, all of us are in similar positions in life as Rudy and don't have the means to pay such a large sum of money at once. Even pooling our funds together we still need help to get him out of lockup. Fortunately $3,500 isn't much money for a group of dozens or hundreds to come up with, even in a few days. That's why I've come to all of you generous people through GoFundMe asking for help.

By donating you would be helping a genuine, loving person to get his life back on track and start building a future. You would be serving a charitable cause and working to create hope for him as he tries to move forward in life rather than continuing to be held back by a rough past. I know I relate to his story, and I'm sure you do too.
