Far from his family and physicians in Nevada and Idaho, Ron Herzig lies in an induced coma in a Florida hospital.

The day after Thanksgiving, while visiting for health and recovery, Ron collapsed suddenly - leading to the discovery of metastasized melanoma of the brain and abdomen, a severe stroke, and multiple emergency surgeries.

As his two daughters, Jacqueline and Jessica, sit vigilantly by his side, they face the extreme task of stabilizing and transporting Ron across the country, where family, friends, and local physicians can support him.

Sadly, medical transport is significant, to say the least, and is not covered by his insurance.
