About:
Hello, My name is Shane Anderson, I am a recording artist, music producer and songwriter who now goes by Raspberry Sky. After the recent success of going viral on TikTok for the Hours and Hours Challenge by Muni Long...I began getting many requests asking when I am going on tour and honestly I have always dreamed to meet my fans and share my music with the world. I knew I wanted to make it happen but knew I couldn’t realistically finance a tour.
So I had a crazy idea...I was sitting in my studio and then thought what If I did something on a smaller scale more intimate, more exclusive, more impactful? I decided to put together a nationwide Raspberry Sky "Private Party Tour" I have many fans across the nation and felt this was the best way to meet my fans outside of my phone screen.
The Tour:
I will be driving across the nation in approx 25-30 cities promoting "Raspberry Sky" and have 2 brand new albums to promote and over 30 songs that have never been heard before. I will be driving over 8800 miles throughout the united states and trust me it's a long journey but the most important journey of my life. More on that later...
Although I have calculated and kept overall cost's to a bare minimum...there are still some necessary costs to see this tour through to fruition and I truly believe that with my fan's support, we can make this tour not only a success but a dream come true in so many aspects.
Some Of The Costs Associated With The Tour & How Funds Will Be Used:
SUV/LARGE VEHICLE Rental (35 Days)
Gas (10000 Miles)
Hotel Accommodations (35 Days)
Studio Rental/Peerspace Accommodations (35 Days)
Content Creator/Cameraman (to include production and post-production) (35 Days)
Meals & Misc (33 Days)
Other unforeseen and miscellaneous costs
The Most Important Journey Of My Life & Career
For those who know me know why this tour means everything to me but a little history! I was born in Germany and grew up in a little town called Erlensee, during my time there I met my brother and best friend Marcel Ingram...his dad and my dad were both military police and worked together on base and when I tell you we had a bond like no other it was deep his dad loved playing Prince in the home and many other legendary artist's. We were kids loving life, running in the wind and carefree.
The childhood memories would become some of the most beautiful yet painful memories I would face as an adult. In 1993 we moved from Germany to Hawaii my dad had military orders to transfer and although I was excited. I was leaving behind my best friend and brother Marcel...but I was young so didn't fully grasp the meaning of it. This was really before the days of the internet, technology and computers. While I was in Hawaii the last time I talked to Marcel I was 13 just by luck of finding his number in the white pages of the phonebook by that time his dad had orders to move to Virginia I think. Many years passed I relocated to California and lost contact with Marcel. I would look up white pages of phonebooks to try to find him with no luck...It was a constant yearning to be reunited with my brother and best friend Marcel.
A Year That Would Change Everything
The year was 2009 the year that would forever change my life. Internet was a thing...google search was a thing. I began searching for Marcel once again combing through hundreds of phone numbers in Virginia...I just wanted to find and talk to my best friend Marcel again. I was down to the last 5 numbers. I dialed and Marcel's mother answered the phone...I knew the voice right away. I was excited and happy to hear her...she said "Oh my god boy is that you?" she was crying and I said "Can I talk to Marcel?" then the words and moment that I could never unhear or erase "Marcel is gone," she said told me he lost his life to gun violence senselessly murdered during a high school Christmas event ... at that moment my entire world was crushed. When they say pain from tragic loss runs deep...It changed my spirit. I went home curled up in bed and grieved and was not well. The happiness in me left, the joy in me left, I was angry, sad, distraught....really in a bad place it was at that moment that began a trajectory of a music career that would forever change and mold me into the artist I have become today. The pain would spawn a drive and passion so deep to do this music...I became obsessively focused on my craft and the music achieving accolades on the way to paving a path and a healing process.
The Raspberry Sky Music Story
With the little success that has come my way and with the recent events on Tik Tok I decided to do this tour but also create a documentary/movie while on tour giving a perspective into my life, the journey of my fans and the process. I will be documenting the entire tour and creating a short movie to air on the social media platform "YouTube" an exclusive and in-depth look behind Raspberry Sky.
Thank You
Thank you so much to all my fans across the world, family, and friends who have supported my music journey since I was a young kid. This tour will change my life and it's because of you that I will continue to create this music and spread the love.
