Our amazing friend, Rashida McKinzie, needs to quickly raise at least $5,000 (preferably $8,000) to replace her car after an unfortunate series of events ended with a tragic accident that destroyed her only means of transportation to work.

Before a drunken driver in a stolen vehicle totaled Rashida's car, a car which she had just parked and stepped out of 10 minutes earlier, our friend had already been met with challenge and crisis.

In December, Rashida's car was broken into and robbed of bags containing specialized work tools and expensive class books and materials.

In early January the drunk driver destroyed the vehicle, leaving Rashida without a means of transportation to work. She rented a car, and in late January that car was broken into.

Throughout this series of very expensive violations, Rashida has been suffering from left-hand tendinitis, scratched cornea, vertigo, and viral infection. Trying to manage all of this while traveling to support their family has taken its toll, and our friend needs our support.
