Big news! I've officially qualified for the Adaptive CrossFit Games in Las Vegas this September, competing in the Neuro Minor category. This is the world finals, and it's an unbelievable honour to have made it this far.
Getting to this point has been a huge journey, especially balancing training with being a mum to two amazing kids and keeping up with my studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands. All whilst dealing with an ever fluctuating medical condition which affects the communication between my brain and body.
None of this would be possible without the support of my coach (Donnie Beaton) and physio (Dave Kershaw). along with programming from PTP (Rob Lawson).
Now, the biggest hurdle is funding. The cost of flights, accommodation, medical fees, training and getting me and my coach to the Games is substantial and as a student and mum, my funds are limited.
I'm asking for your help to get me and my coach to Vegas. Your support will not only cover essential costs but also show us that the community is behind us. For those looking for a more significant contribution, there are sponsorship packages available upon request.
Thank you so much for any support you can offer to help us represent Scotland at the Adaptive CrossFit Games!
