Help get Peter Hawkins Van through a MOT

Hi all. My name is Shannon and I am fundraising to help a true community hero, Peter Hawkins van through a MOT and some new tyres. Peter Hawkins is a name well known within Dorset and Hampshire, and any cat rescue or missing pages on social media. Recently, we lost our precious cat Bear, who I hand reared and bottle fed from birth, along with his sister Oreo. As I’m sure anyone who has ever lost a pet will know, the feeling is a bottomless pit in your stomach that doesn’t stop burning, day and night. While posting missing posters on social media I had the name “ Peter Hawkins” mentioned to me multiple time, over and over again. Peter came out on 3 different occasions to help me try and find Bear, one of them times he set up a trap to try and catch a cat who we believed was Bear and sat in his van determined to get a result until 3am! I am sure those of you who know him will know I am definitely NOT the first person he has helped, he has even got the nickname in the community “ the cat catcher”. I know Peter has helped reunite maybe of your beloved cats in great times of worry and stress. And I know he will help many more. BUT Peter does not charge for this service, his knowledge, patience and determination is priceless to us. And I know many more of you who feel the same too. Peter has recently had some issues with his van, a essential part of him being able to travel to various locations and help reunites these cats to they’re loving owners. Although Peter does receive some donations from some people he helps, sometimes this is not the case. Peter has raked up lots of mileage travelling all over to help people in desperate need, and now I would like to help him. Without his van he would simply not be able to reunite all the cats he already has. And I feel it’s the least we could do. So please help me raise some funds to help him get his van up and running again.
