Hi!

we are Athena Sports Academy, a non-profit community sports club, where over 600 children and young adults from across the North East attend a variety of gymnastics classes. We pride ourselves in offering sessions to children of all ages, abilities and backgrounds; from preschool, recreational & additional needs classes right up to adults & competitive. Since 2011 we have grown to the point of having our own dedicated space which means that we’re able to provide a range of opportunities for all these gymnasts to develop and grow; hosting shows to perform in, internal and external competitions and lots of rewards and awards to celebrate their achievements along the way.

We have exciting news! We’re looking for sponsors to help fund our Senior Display Team; Akrovasia in representing Great Britain at the Festival del Sole in Italy 2025. This festival is the biggest international event of ‘Gymnastics for All’ in Southern Europe, with thousands of athletes from all over the world taking part. This is a huge opportunity and achievement for our gymnasts.

We’re so grateful for our sponsors, who potentially, just like you, can continue to support our previous accomplishments; From the installation of a professionally fitted sprung floor so the gymnasts can train safely, along with a trip to Amsterdam to represent Great Britain in 2023 and so much more.
