For years, Oscar has carried more than carriages — he has carried families through some of the hardest days of their lives.

Our gentle giant pulled funeral carriages with quiet strength and dignity, giving loved ones the most beautiful, peaceful send-offs. In moments filled with grief, Oscar stood steady. Calm. Kind. Majestic. He brought comfort without saying a word.

Now it’s Oscar’s turn to be carried.

Oscar is 20 years old, but you would never know it. He still has so much life in his eyes, so much strength in his spirit, and so many memories left to make. After recently overcoming a tumour in his nasal passages — which was successfully removed — we truly believed the hardest chapter was behind him.

But now we are facing something even more urgent.

Oscar’s has developed a severe infection that is spreading quickly. Time is not on our side. Without immediate treatment, we could lose him. Harry and Sandra, his devoted owners, are facing an impossible decision: say goodbye before Oscar is ready… or fight to give him another chance at life.

Anyone who has met Oscar knows he is not ready to go. He still greets people with gentle eyes. He still leans in for affection. He still stands proud.

This horse has taught so many people patience, kindness, resilience, and respect. He has been there for families in their darkest hours. Now we are asking — humbly — if you can be there for him.

The cost of emergency veterinary care, treatment for the infection, and the specialist support he needs is overwhelming. We need to act fast to save him.
