Help Get Nice Gallery rebuild after a devastating fire
Donación protegida
On Friday August 8th around 8:45pm, a fire was started behind the Ballard Collective building in Seattle, WA. First responders quickly arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire that engulfed the back of the building. Thankfully no one was hurt—however Get Nice. Gallery and Graham Franciose Studios suffered massive damage. Original works and countless prints lost, as well as a brand new collaborative show from artists Travis Millard & Michael Sieben (set to open today, Saturday August 9th) has nearly all been destroyed. Get Nice. Gallery and Graham Franciose Studio are now facing vast challenges as they set out to rebuild and recover.
Anyone who is familiar with Graham knows that he is extremely passionate about supporting fellow artists and building community around artistic expression. He started Get Nice. Gallery as a way to get more involved in the Seattle art scene and help more artists showcase their work. Not only that, Get Nice. Gallery has always paid artists a significantly higher percentage of sales than almost all other galleries. Now is the time for our community to rally around Graham and Get Nice. Gallery and return some of that generosity they have been so giving with over the years.
Please consider contributing to this fund and sharing this page so we can surround these wonderful people and artists with support they desperately need. Fund from this relief fundraiser will help Get Nice Gallery compensate the other artists who lost work in the fire, as well as to begin the process of rebuilding as a gallery. Thank you for your help and generosity!
