Help Get New Age to Body Rock 2025 & World of Dance Summit

Hi everyone!

We are New Age Theatrics, a professional performing arts dance company based out of the Bay Area. If we’ve never met before, welcome to our family! And to our returning friends and family, thank you for stopping by, as always. We have some exciting updates for you guys, as well as a request for your support.

We are honored to receive the exciting opportunity to compete at the prestigious Body Rock dance competition in San Diego! It’s truly our dream to be able to share our art, especially on such a big stage, and we are working hard to create something special. However, as a brand new dance company that is less than 2 years old, securing funding has been a huge challenge, and we would appreciate any support, financially or otherwise (spreading the word / words of encouragement) to help get our team there. Your support would help fund our team’s stay in San Diego (for ~40 performers), rehearsal space in San Diego, registration, and more.

Most recently, we won first at World of Dance Bay Area, defending our title from last year! We want to sincerely express our thanks to everyone who showed us love, and to the World of Dance crew for putting on such an amazing show. This win means that we have qualified to compete at World of Dance Finals in Los Angeles! Although we would love to continue our World of Dance journey, we are currently not financially in a position where we could bring our team there. If there is any funding leftover from what we raise for BodyRock, your support would go towards hopefully bringing our team to World of Dance Finals (and if not, it would go towards another future event, competition, or show that we put together for the community).

Lastly, another exciting event that we have coming up on 6/14 is Transitions, a show focused on bringing awareness to mental health struggles by telling stories in the way we all know best: dance. We’ll be posting more information on our social media so be sure to keep an eye out! We would love to see you there.
