Help get Nevaeh to Meredith College

I had this beautiful girl when I was 17 years old and  I have had the pleasure of growing up with her. Now she is 17 and I want to help her reach her full potential.

I have witnessed her take ownership of her own education and she has always been dedicated to her success no matter what challenges she has faced. She is ready to start working towards a prosperous and meaningful future. Nevaeh was set on attending our local community college until she was accepted to Meredith College and offered substantial academic scholarships and grants.  Even with that financial assistance we have a large gap in her tuition to attend this four year college.  

Neither her or I ever imagined she would leave this beach because of how comfortable  and tight knit our small community is. This island and me are her comfort zone. It was not until Meredith pursued her that she realized there is such a big world of opportunity out there and that she wants to take the chance at something more than her hometown has to offer. To say I am proud would be an understatement. I have seen the most beautiful change in her since this offer from Meredith and I believe she truly wants to seize this opportunity. She is responsible enough though to realize that the bill to obtain this dream is grand. I don’t want my financial stress to hinder her from taking this chance at a future much more prosperous than I could have ever imagined for her. This is her college, and I have the greatest faith that she will thrive there and for the rest of her life with the experiences and knowledge she will gain from everything this college has to offer. There couldn’t be a more perfect fit for her than Meredith but the amount of student loans we would have to take out to make it happen is an overwhelming burden. 

As her mother, I am asking anyone who is willing to put faith in my daughter and her future to find it in their heart to help me get her there. She is so dedicated, intelligent and driven that I have no doubt she will make the best of this opportunity  and do great things to better herself and the world around her. I am asking anyone who reads this, can feel in my words the faith that I have in my daughter. Please help me make this dream come true for her by donating to her college expenses.
