Service Dog training for Madi and Bambi

Donation protected
Hello! I'm Mj, I'm 19 year olds disabled , and this is my puppy Bambi! He's part border collie and part Aussie and is a year and a half old. I adopted him a week before the lockdowns started a year ago. Like with most people, the virus and subsequent quarantines took a large toll on us and our family.

Though we were incredibly grateful to be able to spend so much time with our new puppy. We had a lot of time to teach and train him to the best of our ability and he has turned out to be quite a good, smart little pup. Several months into the virus our family got the chance to move from Michigan back to Arizona where I'm from. We did this so my extended family would be closer and could provide more help with my rapidly increasing health issues. Since moving back home I've been diagnosed with epilepsy, orthostatic hypotension, and a heart condition called POTS on top of the chronic migraines I was already experiencing due to my partial blindness in one eye.

All of this is to say, I need a lot of help. Most days I can't leave my bed, so it makes taking proper care of both myself and Bambi extremely difficult. I've done my best to train Bambi to be in public but that's only part of him being an alert dog for when I have seizures and POTS attacks. This is incredibly important to my health. Having a seizure is dizzying and disorienting and can put me in real danger if I can't tell anyone I'm about to have one or having one. When I'm experiencing a POTS attack I faint and most normally am not able to move or speak that loudly.  Having Bambi as an alert dog so he can tell someone when I experience these attacks could help keep me from being injured or, in the worst cases, could save my life.

On top of the physical aspects, having Bambi with me also makes the mental toll of being sick much easier to deal with. However, these training courses are not cheap and I'm not able to work as much as I'd like because of these illnesses. Most months I struggle to even cover rent, so it has never seemed realistic to save up for his training, but unfortunately POTS has no cure so I need to do everything I can to keep myself safe. I've debated many times back and forth whether or not to ask for help in this way but have decided that if I'm to ever get this done, this is my only option. Anything you can offer would help. Thank you!
