Hi, My name is Rawan Almadhoun, a mother of two little boys Yousef and Yahya, and I urgently need help to evacuate from Gaza for their medical treatment.

We were living in a house in Tal El-Hawa area in Gaza City that I loved. We were forced to leave for the south of Gaza Strip since our region was marked as a heavy fighting area.

We were informed later that our house has been completely destroyed, so we now have nowhere to live even if the war is ended. The house of my husband parents also was destroyed by the same bombardment.

The situation in the south is unliveable to say the least, and we are struggling to survive. there is a lack in food and drinking water, no electricity at all, the diseases spread and there is bombing around us and can reach us soon.

My little baby Yousef just six months old didn't get his vaccinations, there is no medical care, so he is in a danger.

I barely can find a diapers for my children and its price has been doubled and there is no income to my family since 7th October.

I was working as a part time lecturer for medical genetics course at Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) which has also been bombed. My husband Thaer is a technician who works in mobile phones maintenance but his shop is also destroyed and he lost all the equipment.

The main problem is that my elder son Yahya, 2-year old, has a chronic asthma, with severe asthmatic attacks, made worse by the dust of the bombing and cooking by fire. And at the same time, the medical care has disappeared, the two hospitals that he used to visit (Alnasar hospital & Specialized Rantisii hospital) have been bombed, and his medication is no longer available.

If his asthma triggered it needs nebulizer machine but we don't have electricity since 85 days. His case will be worse and worse if he doesn’t take the medical care he needs.

For that I am planning to evacuate from Gaza Strip with my husband and our two children.

The only way to leave is through Rafah border crossing to Egypt as a temporary place until we find permanent one.

The bad news that we need 20.000$ as fees to pass through the border, $7000 for each adult and $3000 for each child. Taking into account the cost of living in the days after till we find a permanent place, this fundraiser is set at £25000.

This is a huge number to ask, but I am in serious need for it.

I am writing here to ask for a donation to save our life.

Time is critical, even if we can survive today, we might not tomorrow.

All contributions, no matter how small, will be appreciated more than I can express.
