️ Help Bring My FXRP Back to Life for Sturgis 2025
Donation protected
My name’s Nicholas. I’m an American long-distance motorcyclist, and I’ve been rolling to Sturgis every year since 2018—when I first hit the road full-time.
That winter, while snowbirding in Florida, I bought my 1992 Harley-Davidson FXRP—a retired police bike that shares the same birth month and year as me. The bond runs deep.
She barely ran 30 miles when I got her, thanks to a bad stator. I did the work myself—rebuilt the charging system, replaced the fork seals, gave her a top-end rebuild—and by April 2019, she was road-ready. That July, we arrived early for our first rally to Sturgis together for work.
Since then, we’ve logged nearly 100,000 miles. No backup plan. Just the open road and a whole lot of trust. Over time, she’s become known as a true road warrior—carving across highways, backroads, and state lines all over the country.

What I Need help with :
• ✅ FXR Wiring Harness (no power—bike won’t start)
• FXR Rear Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir
• Front Brake Light Switch
• Front Fork Seal Kit
• 14” Rear Shocks (currently running 12”, sitting too low)
• New or Used FXRT Seat (mine is shredded)
• FXRP Windshield (mine is cracked)
• New DOT Helmet (expired, likely compromised)
• Full Fluid Change (engine oil, primary, transmission)
⸻
This would be our 6th straight year riding to Sturgis together—but right now, she’s stuck in storage. The FXRP won’t fire up. The wiring harness is worn through in spots, copper showing where it rubbed against other components. No power to the key or lights, though the starter solenoid will still turn the motor over.
She does have a fresh set of Michelin Commander III tires mounted—ready to eat up the miles—but instead, she’s collecting dust… when she should be chasing freedom through the Black Hills.
⸻
The truth is: I can take the time off work.
I’ve been juggling two jobs just to stay afloat.
On top of that, I’m also paying off my dad’s 2018 Milwaukee-Eight since he passed—keeping his legacy alive, the same way I’ve kept mine.
But with all the issues on my FXRP, I simply can’t afford both the trip and the repairs this year.
⸻
Sturgis has never just been a rally to me. It’s where I’ve met lifelong friends. It’s where I’ve healed.
It’s where I’ve found peace—riding through the Black Hills, Deadwood, Iron Mountain Road, Needles Highway, and the Badlands .
This isn’t about building a show bike.
It’s about keeping the streak alive—honoring the miles, the machine, and the man I’ve become on the road.
⸻
If you’ve ever seen my FXRP out there on main st Sturgis —or if you just believe in keeping real riders rolling—I’d be honored by your support.
Even $5 brings me one mile closer to Main Street.
Much love and respect,
Nicholas
