Help get our mum home to be buried with her dad
Donation protected
Hi our names are Stacey & Rodell.
we are daughters of Julie Webb who recently passed away 14/06/2025.
as mum passed away in a different district we’ve been told all funeral costs will be double the price to get her home with her daddy which has been her one wish since she lost him as a young girl. Mums never got over the loss of her dad and I need to make sure I do this one thing she wished for otherwise I’ll never forgive myself.
mums spent months in hospital being neglected by the nhs. She was told she had multiple things wrong with her over and over again. She contacted me end of may 25 to tell me she’s being discharged as fit and well into a rehab centre to learn to walk as this nhs hospital made her bed bound on a catheter due to being “understaffed” originally mum couldn’t walk well due to Edma but they refused to help her after a fall they decided to let her rot in a bed for 3 months. On the day they discharged her they said she was fit and well 4 days of rehab then she could go home! On the same day of rehab and discharge she had a high temperature and was taken to another hospital which is when I got the dreaded phone call that she was at end of life.
she was discharged as fit and well but died 5 days after she was at end of life.
Due to the lack of care from the first hospital we’ve decided as a family that we need to sue due to negligence. Her kidneys worked at 10% yet they failed to diagnose that and just let her go home.
I can’t grieve the loss of my mum untill we get answers and some justice so due to this we may need to pay out for solicitors fees.
so we would like to ask if there’s anyone who knew mum friends and family who can donate something small to help towards her send off that would be amazing I know mum up there would really appreciate it and know how much she was loved.
currently the deposit for the funeral alone is £6,000 plus directer fees on top and to have her transported from a different Buckinghamshire to Bedfordshire.
Any funds not needed will be donated to a heart failure charity and kidney failure charity as mum was so big on donating to charity’s like children’s cancer and women’s refuge so if we could do one thing for mum she would of wanted us to donate to a charity in her memory.
she was an amazing mum and the most kind hearted generous nanny we will miss her so much she deserves the best send off possible.
i hope you understand and Thankyou for any donations you make
