Hi, my name is Jen, and I'm a mom of four who fights for the rights of LGBTQ+ kids in public schools. I'm sure everyone has noticed what has happened here in Florida with the recent bills that attack these students specifically. The Don't Say Gay bill puts my family smack in the middle of this war on rights as my youngest kids are in kindergarten and second grades, while my 12-year-old is non-binary. My youngest two will not be able to speak about their sibling in school next year without fear of retribution.

I now have the opportunity to testify in DC about how this bill harms families like my own, but I don't have the funds to get there. Please consider chipping in to get me up there, along with my emotional support friend, for this nerve-wracking but amazing chance to help make a difference!
