Help get Lucy to the World Inclusive Skating Championships
Donation protected
Hi my name is Kristine and I’m fundraising for my daughter Lucy to go to the World Inclusive Skating Championships 2025.
Lucy has autism, dyslexia, arlens syndrome and short term and repetitive memory problems and works extremely hard at her sport to be the best she can be. She works with a specialist inclusive coach who is wonderful and knows how to bring out her best while supporting her needs.
Lucy has had a difficult few years and now has to be home schooled to help her cope with her sensory and social anxiety issues and to support her learning disability. Skating has been a form of therapy for Lucy she is a new person when she is on the ice. She is much calmer and genuinely enjoys herself.
inclusive skating is a fantastic charity that holds figure skating competitions for people with additional needs. Lucy recently competed in the Inclusive British Opens which was held in Milton Keynes and got a gold and bronze medal. Because of this she has received an invitation to compete in the Inclusive world competition 2025 which will be held over 5 days in London in October.
This of course comes with a lot of costs including training, travel, accommodation, outfits, coaches costs, entry fees etc.
We would be greatful for any donations no matter how small to help her achieve her dream.
Thank you ❤️⛸️
