Hi my name is Sonia from 'A buttercream dream'

Lorraine has been a huge part of our local community for years — bringing smiles, joy, and ice cream to so many of us. Whether it’s a sunny school run or a weekend stroll, she’s always there with a kind word and a treat for the kids (and grown-ups too!).

Right now, Lorraine’s beloved van has broken down, and she’s in the process of having a new one converted. It’s a big job, and it comes with a big cost. On top of that, she’s now facing a long spell off the road with no income while the new van is being prepared.

I’m trying to raise £4,000 to help cover:

• Loss of earnings while she’s unable to trade

• The cost of converting the new ice cream van
