Help Get Logan to Madrid!

Since Logan was about 4 years old, he has been fascinated with soccer. Starting out, what he lacked in skills, he made up for in enthusiasm. Soccer was where he found his freedom, he could run and play and before we knew it, he was completely enthralled with the sport. For the past 9 years, we have watched Logan grow and flourish and fall deeper in love. He has two wonderful teams he plays on, and some of the best coaches. He practices 3-4 times a week and usually has 2 games, so on a good week we are at the field 6 days. This past year Logan has been alot more focused, not just on soccer but on his grades and how he conducts himself at school. He has a plan, and has started talking about looking forward to high school and playing soccer when he is older. To say we are proud of him, is a serious understatement.
This summer, Logan participated in a week-long soccer skills camp sponsored by his favorite team, Real Madrid. During this week, Logan was able to be coached by Real Madrid coaches, enhance his skills, and scrimmage with other like-minded players his age from our area.
Logan knew going in, that Real Madrid was watching, and going to select the best players and invite them to Madrid, Spain for a more intensive training week and program. He worked so hard. That week was extremely hot, in the 90's, and very humid. Mid-way through the week Logan got sick with heat exhaustion and missed a day of training. He was so upset, and beat himself up, but went back the next day and tried his best. He finished the week strong! Then we didn't really think about it until a little over a week ago, when I received an email stating that Logan was selected, and the trip would be November 18-26th. Only 30% of kids who played in 26 cities in the US were selected!
As a parent, you want to make your kids dreams come true any way you can. We weren't prepared for the trip to be 3 months from now, or to have to come up with thousands of dollars in less time than that. We have paid the deposit, and have a second payment due 9/15, and the final payment due 10/15. We are trying everything in our power, but are asking for some help. Logan worked so hard for this, he trained for it. He is still working hard, he is the kid sitting by the door, rushing me to get to the field for practices. I want to be able to show him that when he does work hard he can accomplish amazing things. This is a once in a lifetime experience for Logan! We are asking for help to pay the remaining balance, plus the cost of our flights. We appreciate any and all help to get him there!
Thank you, from the bottom of our fútbol loving hearts!
