Hello, I am a family friend of Logan Lowther and he has been dealt a very bad hand and needs our help. Logan is now 23 and has been battling cancer for the past 2 years. He was an inspiration to everyone with how fit and active he was as an athlete. He loves camping, treking, freediving, he has completed the grueling New Zealand coast to coast event solo, worked while a school kid as an abalone freediver, able to stay under water for 3 minutes. Outstanding runner, kayaker and bike rider.

He came to study at University in Tasmania when doctors noticed a spot on his lungs which turned out to be the worst possible news. He bravely accepted the diagnosis and underwent immunotherapy and chemo; he was able to ring the bell after going into remission. Unfortunately, the cancer returned in June last year and has not been responding to treatment. He came to Melbourne in January for a stem cell transplant, leaving all his possessions in his car in Tasmania. While in The Royal Melbourne hospital, his ute was broken into and his rooftop tent, camping gear, bike and other possessions were stolen. His Mother flew to Tasmania to bring the car back to Melbourne on the ferry and while still in hospital his car has now been stolen. He has another 50 days to wait to see the outcome of this treatment and was hoping to fulfill his dream of an extended camping/working holiday around Australia. With his car and equipment stolen, he has been knocked down again. I want to raise some funds to help him get back on his feet. All money raised will go directly to Logan at the end of this campaign for him to replace his lost equipment and to enable him to embark on his dream trip.
