Help Get Lockers Through the Next Few Months

Hi all!

Jayde here (Brent's niece). As many of you know, Brent has somehow managed to get himself into a state that only affects 400 people per year in Australia.

What actually happened?

After spending a few days working in the yard, he felt a pain in his leg and was in the hospital the same day. Turns out he was hit with Necrotising Faciitis which is a very serious flesh-eating bacterial infection. The man clearly does not do things by halves. At this stage he has had a large portion of skin and tissue removed from the front of his leg, from the knee to ankle. The anti-biotics appear to be doing their job so he will be going in for a skin graft in the coming days. It's not light to say that in those first couple of days we were prepared to get a call that he'd passed. And at one point, we were told he had to be resuscitated. While things are looking much brighter than they were, he's not out of the woods yet. He's still got a number of weeks in hospital and months of difficult rehab ahead.

Why the gofundme?

Unfortunately, due to all the above he won't be able to work for a long while yet and all the hard work he'd been putting into his house is only halfway there. So we (I'll credit Steve Foura with the idea or I'll never hear the end of it) thought it would be a great idea to give his mates the opportunity to give him a hand financially. We know that everyone has been struggling with what's been going on and have all offered to help in any way they can.

Brent's raised a lot of money over the years for countless things, we figured it's about time he has a turn. So if you can, please send some sheets his way. There is absolutely no obligation and we are more than stoked with any help his friends can offer in any capacity.
