Hello friends,

My name is Lecia Louise, and I'm fundraising to cover the expenses involved with playing at the Memphis Blues Challenge, held in January 2027 in Memphis, representing Southeast Queensland.

It's a huge honour and opportunity that I want to make the most of, but this is where I need your support.

For those who don't know me, I'm Lecia Louise — a touring, recording guitarist, singer and songwriter based in Southeast Queensland. Over the years, my music has hit #1 on the Triple J Unearthed charts, charted nationally across various other charts, and won the Gold Coast Music People's Choice Award in 2025. This year I released my highly anticipated album, Strike to Ignite, which has landed on numerous charts and is currently Album of the Week and featured in the Hit Track Top 100. I've also been featured in Rhythm Magazine, Scenestr, Dirt Radio, and numerous other publications and radio stations.

Music has taken me all over the world, but getting to Memphis would be a dream come true.

The prize money from the competition doesn't cover everything I need to get there, so I'm fundraising to help cover:

Ongoing bills and expenses back home in Australia while I'm not earning an income
