My dear friend Kim is a mother of 2, with her
youngest daughter having autism. Over the
last year, Kim had a Double mastectomy.
The surgery left her with massive scaring buildup. And she has had to receive over 8,000
individual shots in her chest since October to help break down this scar tissue and relieve some of the tearing. By the way that is an unbearable pain.
In addition to this, her stomach is about 5 inches away from her Abdominal wall and her stomach is prone to creating masses that can
become benign or Cancer.
This surgery will be removing and solving these problems.
sooooo let’s talk about how fucked up medical insurance is! Haha
Kim’s medical insurance said that this surgery is not TECHNICALLY life or death (even tho it would be taking the part of her stomach out that is prone to create cancer)
So OFCOURSE .. they will not cover it.
UNLESS she will agree to get fake boobs.. !?
Unbelievable that this is legal, for an insurance company to only cover your life changing (but technically not life threatening) surgery, only if you want have them throw in some tits... add tits and risk not only being in surgery for double the time, have a longer recovery, and ofcourse make it much harder to see any new lumps.
She will have to cover $ 10,100 of the surgery and is hoping to have a few extra hundred to help with recovery costs.
