Hello Family and Friends,

I feel led by God to enroll in YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Discipleship Training School (DTS) located in Kona, Hawaii. This is a program that will teach me to serve others and God while finding my own unique faith.  Originally this school was not a part of my plan after I graduate in June. I thought I had it all planned out perfectly but I began to question if my choices were making an impact or helping other people. When I found the answer was no, I wasn’t so sure anymore. I have heard many stories from friends that YWAM changed their lives and gave them a new sense of direction. I need a new direction and YWAM is where God has pointed me, so I applied and was accepted very soon after.

The DTS I was accepted into is called Fire and Fragrance, it is a three month lecture course in Kona that will focus on music and leading people to God through worship. I am especially passionate about this because I love music and the feeling of worship is like none other, I am able to find God through worship. I am so excited to use my gifts to help other people find God too.

For the following three months I will be on an outreach trip. I will rely on the calling God places on my heart to decide where I will go. I am trusting God to lead me every step of the way. During this portion I will be a part of something bigger than myself,  helping people in need, making an impact.

With all journeys come the necessity of prayer and financial help. I have faith, if this is God’s will for my life, it will happen!

I first and foremost ask for your prayer support for continued guidance, peace and provision. If you feel led to partner with me to cover the financial portion, it would be greatly appreciated! 

Here is a breakdown of the funds I need to raise;

Application Fee - $75.00

Lecture Phase at YWAM Kona - $4,000.00

Estimated cost of Outreach - $5,000.00

Estimated flight costs from Washington to Hawaii - $1,200.00

Total estimated amount to be raised by September - $10,275.00

I have already started putting money from my paychecks into a savings account and will continue to do so until my departure. My family is partnering with me to hold other sales and fundraisers as well.
