Help get Karen’s legs back on the yoga mat

Aloha, I am hoping to raise a little love for my bestie Karen. In April she had to get a bi-lateral hip replacement. A hip replacement? What, both of them? I know she seems a bit young for that, but it was an unfortunate necessity due to unknown factors. It was a common, well-practiced, highly dependable surgery, and Karen took it in stride, followed the doctor's recommendations, and was on her way to recovery when, Snap! Her femur broke in two. Compromised by the surgery, the bone gave way and had to be repaired by means of a metal plate screwed into the re-aligned bone. What was once a two month recovery was now stretching into six months! And again, Karen did what she was supposed to, followed all the instructions, went a little bit crazy lying there in bed, but persisted with the healing. Everything was getting back to normal, she had ditched the walker and was getting stronger with physical therapy and at home exercises. But then, literally the day after getting her all-clear to resume all activities, again with the Snap! Somehow the metal plate holding her femur together had broken, leaving rough metal inside of Karen's leg, so back to the hospital for her 3rd surgery she went. Now she is back home with an incredibly wonderful attitude and ready to conquer this healing and get back on her feet. Thankfully she had amazing insurance but she finds herself at the end of all financial income possibilities because her current employer fired her recently and government assistance has been expended. And so, my dear friends, we turn to you. Any help in getting Karen a small cushion to pad her way back into the working world would be most appreciated. Much love to you all, Ainsley
