Hey everyone! As you know I’m Juli’s Aunnie! This past fall Juli started a new All-Star cheer team with Showtime Athletics. Her team was invited to the D2 Summit at DISNEY! Juli will have the experience of competing at the ESPN World Wide of Sports in Disney and She also gets to practice at the Top Gun Cheer Gym! We have been fundraising every chance we get which includes standing outside businesses in 20 degree weather! Juli was placed with my parents for the past 6+ years. We lost my mom in July of 2021 and at that point my step dad and I began raising Juli together, this past fall Juli moved in with me and my 2 young children. I am limited on income and have done everything I can to make sure she has the experience she deserves. Juli is kind, helpful, loving and most of all determined.

My two littles were sick for an entire week causing me to miss work, which I could have been able to swing my bills and at least make it to and from Florida at the very least. However, without going into much detail, I have recently had to miss more work due to an emergency in the family and taking in Juli’s youngest sister. Juli’s sister does have some disabilities which makes going to collect bottles or “tagging” (standing outside businesses for donations) impossible.

Juli has worked so hard to have the experience she deserves at Disney. We are trying to sell a car for funds as well, but my landlord may tow it due to it sitting without plates for a month. I didn’t want to resort to this but I feel as though I don’t have many other options given the circumstances that have been placed before me. I can’t think of another kid who has been through so much and still pushes to be her best self. I have never met a 15 year old who has as much strength as this girl and I just want her to finally have an experience she deserves. An experience without the littles coming first, an experience for just HER.

If you knew my mom, you know she would have been working all the extra hours to give Juli everything she needed for this experience and unfortunately I just don’t have that option.

We both so greatly appreciate everyone who has donated bottles and cash so far and I really hate to be doing this

we are driving down to save on rental costs and flights. I’m praying to god my new van is decent enough to make the drive, I have already paid for our stay and Julis summit fees that include 2 park passes, however I will need a 2 day park pass to bring her as she is a minor. I tell Juli no more often than not and for just once I want to be able to tell her to ENJOY herself. I don’t want her to feel like having fun like she truly deserves is a burden.
