Help Get Jim Back On His Feet

Hello from the Stickel family, we are fundraising for Jim Stickel. Jim wasn't feeling good for a couple weeks and went into the hospital on Saturday morning, 10-21-2023. While at the hospital the staff were running some tests and he started to have a hard time breathing. Jim then lost consciousness and began respiratory arrest causing him to code, needing emergency CPR to bring him back. The hospital was able to get him back and he had to go on life support and still is for now. The good news is that all of that happened at the hospital and they were quick to react. Everyone that knows Jim will understand how strong he is. Four days later he is still in ICU and is fighting for his life. He is one of the most lovable, funny and caring people that would give the shirt off of his back for you. The amount of thoughts and prayers, support and outreach from family and friends has been amazing. We all know Jim is going to fight this hard and are hoping for a full recovery. Next steps is for him to come out of his medically induced coma and see how his reactions are.

In the upcoming weeks he is going to have to take it easy, and we don't want him to worry about bills or medical expenses. This fund is set up to give him some relief and to put him at ease of all of the expenses. We appreciate all of your help, thoughts and continued prayers.
