We have a life changing opportunity in front of us right now!
My husband, Ian Dovey, crashed on his motorcycle in Los Cabos on October 20, 2018. Among many injuries, he sustained a spinal cord injury at C5 & C6, leaving him quadriplegic. This means he is paralyzed from the chest down, has only partial use of arms, and no movement or feeling in his hands.
After 5 long months in the hospital he finally came home and we have been learning to cope and live with such a life altering injury.
Ian has been doing in-depth research on stem cell treatments for spinal cord injuries. He learned that for best results the treatment should be done within the first year of your injury before scar tissue builds up.
He found a reputable stem cell institute in Panama City and they approved his application.
The trip is 2 weeks long and includes the treatment, physical therapy, hotel stay for two adults, and transportation to and from the airport.
The total cost is $27,485 US.
The reason for raising 32k is to cover flights and meals.
We have 90 days from the email approval to pay for the trip!
That means we have until October 6, 2019
