Help get homeless man and dog home to his family
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Jill and I am your neighbor in SoHo. A few months ago, I met Phillip and his Emotional Support Animal (ESA) Arson, a wonderful Dalmatian. His backpack was stolen with his ID and since he’s been homeless, he had no mailing address to get a new copy of his birth certificate. Therefore he couldn’t get an ID or social security card or board an airplane. I allowed him to use my home as his mailing address and since then he has received his birth certificate, ID. and social security card. He is now ready to go home to Detroit, where he has family and friends, including his twin brother.
We have been hitting dead ends with community agencies to help with the flights. They say they can help but then never get back to us.
We need around $200 for his ticket, $700 for the dog’s fare (due to her weight) and $200-ish for the crate, as the dog is too big to be in the cabin. Also a little spending money for food in the airport, and to hold him over until he gets a paycheck.
Phillip is a really sweet guy who just got into a bad spot. He’s been a delight and I consider him a friend, Any help would be greatly appreciated!
