On Sunday July 21, the East York Bulldogs 22U Baseball team went undefeated (6-0) to win the Ontario Championship and the right to represent Ontario at the Canadian 22U Men's Championship August 1 - 4, 2024 in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. For some historical perspective, the last time that an EY team won the eliminations was the 21U team (Junior) in 2000, and in 1989 the 18U team (called midget in those days) won the eliminations and went on to win the national championship.

Head coach Billy Georgitsakis has poured countless hours into the 22U program and deserves a huge thank you for all of his work with this team, along with key support from assistants Denis Bailey, Jim Eliopoulos, Jacob Mahoney and Bill Dzugan. All of these gentlemen are East York alumni and we cannot thank them enough for all of their time and passion that they have contributed.

However, getting this team to Nova Scotia is not cheap and we are hoping that you will assist them in being able to get the whole team down to the Championship.
