Hi! My little guy’s name is Dirtbike and my name is Jake. Recently, Dirt has become progressively more & more ill. Friday 08/06 he was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, but since then I’ve been told the diagnosis is in question. My vet would like to send his blood work to further Tickborne illness experts along with doing further tests on him as well. He’s currently on a 28 day medication to stabilize the issue. He’s got an effusion in his back right leg that hinders him from using it at all. At this point there’s an open wound as well that seems to be something more in the direction of an internal parasite / infection. Normally he’s a max weight of 8lbs but has lost 1.5 lbs and has become completely lethargic. He’s not the same fun spirited dog he once was and I’m looking for help to get him back to health. I appreciate anything that anyone can donate to help towards his vet visits / bills. He deserves everything and the condition he’s currently in is nothing I ever saw coming for him… it’s a 180 of the Dirtbike we know. I appreciate your help so much.
