Darrell saves our ass every single burn. He designs new and exciting ways of making our burn better every year, buys it, drives all our shit from Canada, builds it, tears it down, and drives it all the way back.
This year, Darrell got fucking WRECKED by freeway traffic on the way home from the burn. His truck is totaled; his sternum is broken; and all his (and our!) stuff is stranded in USA. It's nice in USA, but it's not home.
Costs are mounting, including a tow for his truck, a rental to pull his trailer home, and obviously whatever insurance won't cover once he's in a position to buy a replacement truck.
Darrell's humble as fuck and usually refuses help. This time he won't have a choice.
