Hi there… I’m Daisy. I’m a tiny chihuahua with a big heart and even bigger ears. I was born in September 2024, and just a few weeks ago, my whole world changed.

Five weeks ago, I lost my first mommy. It was sudden, and everything got really confusing and scary. But then something magical happened… I got brought to a new home. I didn’t know what to expect—but the moment I curled up in my new mommy’s arms, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a while: safe.

What neither of us knew was how much we needed each other. She saved me, but I think maybe I saved a little piece of her too.

Then, just when we were starting to feel like a real family, something went wrong. Out of nowhere, I started having seizures. A lot of them. More than 40 in just a few days. I was so tired and scared, and my new mom held me through all of it—even when her heart was breaking.

I had to go to a special hospital in Toronto where I stayed for 36 hours. They did a CT scan and a lot of other tests to figure out what’s going on in my tiny brain. I was so brave (and okay, a little dramatic), but it was really important.

The hard part? All that testing and care costs $4,500. And while my mom says she’d move mountains for me, we need a little help.
