Our Boy Cooper Needs a Bit of Help

We never thought we’d be writing something like this.

This is Cooper — our pup, our shadow, our little heartbeat around the house. He’s just 10 months old, still full of cheeky energy and curiosity… or at least, he was.

A few days ago, Cooper suddenly got very unwell. It started with him being a bit quiet — off his food, not quite himself. But within hours, it became clear something was really wrong. He spiked a dangerously high temperature, went stiff and shaky, and we had to rush him to the vet.

Since then, it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. He’s been in and out of emergency care, on drips, antibiotics, pain relief… and still no clear answer as to what’s causing it. His fever keeps coming back, and every time it does, it takes a little more out of him.

The vets are doing everything they can, and so are we.

Cooper’s insured, thankfully — but the costs are already going far beyond what insurance covers. We’re not people who ask for help lightly, and this isn’t easy to write. But the truth is, we don’t want money. We just want our boy to have a fair chance, and we’re trying to give him everything we can.
