Help get Clancy back on his feet!

My baby boy Clancy suffered a cruciate ligament injury after having a fun day trying to out run his brother Marcelles. After two months of resting his leg and receiving some laser therapy at his vets office we moved ahead with what is next for his recovery after an evaluation from a surgeon it was recommended to either do surgery which is $4200 or continue with physical therapy and add some pentosan injections. We started the injections immediately. they are weekly and they help limit Cartlidge deterioration as well as promote new Cartlidge ,thicken joint fluid and improve blood supply to the joint. We have found a physical therapist in the neighboring town that performs hydrotherapy ,laser therapy, as well as stretching exercising massage etc. to improve the strength of the muscle that is deteriorating in his leg from lack of use. Because Clancy is healthy and young we feel that this physical therapy might  be very successful in restoring his strength and mobility which will allow his joint to heal., if we can’t come up with the money for the surgery !The physical therapist assures me that she has had a great success with this type of injury in healthy young dogs and the cost is about half of what the surgery would be .if we cannot raise the $4200 for the surgery then we are going to continue with the physical therapy…

Clancy came to me at the age of three months through Faith And Hope Foundation , an adoption program for dogs in Texas that are being rescued from high kill shelters. His mother was pregnant when she was rescued from being euthanized within 24 hours ,which followed with her delivering several babies! All of the babies were adopted out to families in the Pacific Northwest so they were all being transported from Texas to Oregon when they were involved in a major collision on the highway in Wyoming which resulted in one death on board. I was praying and crying and hoping that Clancy was not the one that died ended up all of his siblings and himself were safe and sound and had to go through quite an ordeal to eventually arrive safe up in Seattle! His mother was eventually adopted out in the area as well so it was a blessing that all were rescued from certain death!

I believe that Clancy rescued me as much as I rescued him as I am on disability was forced into early retirement due to multiple health issues. I live on a very modest income and have given Clancy and his brother a very good life with what little I have. all in all they are extremely well taken care of and some would say spoiled but I say they are just getting what they deserve in life! Clancy is the most amazing dog a true gem fun to be around full of love and eager to love on anybody that gives him a moment of attention❤️..

unfortunately my income has not allowed for this kind of a medical emergency as I live pretty much month to month. this injury thus far has already cost several hundred dollars, so I am asking for the help of friends and family and fans of Clancy if you can help me get Clancy back on all 4 feet and be the happy lovable energetic dog that he used to be!

$2500 will cover the next five months of expected therapy as this kind of injury is a long haul recovery even with surgery. Clancy and his brother are my life! I live for them as they give me endless love and happiness.❤️ I will do anything I can to make sure he continues to have the best life possible and that is why I am willing to put myself out there and ask for your help! Any amount that you can contribute is appreciated more than you know! if you could please share this page with everybody you know I would greatly appreciate it .thank you from the bottom of my heart !you have no idea how much this little guy means to me.. I just want my baby boy to get back on his feet so he can continue on with a good quality of life..Thank you all. Sincerely, MaryPat
