Hello, my name is Luna, you may also know me as, Carbonoid, Lee, or Dreadful.

My Auntie Kathleen immigrated from Trinidad and Tobago to Canada with my mother back in the 80's. Auntie Kathleen has taken care of us our whole lives but she has also struggled with health conditions our whole lives as well, battling and beating cancer multiple times in her life. Auntie is now in her mid 70's and as the years go on, she has made it a yearly tradition to snowbird back to our home country Trinidad for the coldest winter months, even though her condition seems to worsen every year.

Unfortunately, this new years, Kathleen suffered a stroke and a bad fall during her annual trip to Trinidad. She was not found for 3 hours after the stroke and the fall also resulted in a sprained wrist and neck. Auntie is now unable to walk or move her limbs and is receiving round the clock care in the hospital in Trinidad.

We are in need of medical transportation to return Auntie to Canada, as Hospitals in Trinidad can no longer do anything for her recovery. She is also still receiving cancer treatments and arthritis therapy in Canada, but these conditions may also worsen if she does not return soon.

A medical escort on a commercial flight was our original plan and would have cost our family about $20000, but due to recent worsening of her condition, a medical escort no longer possible. A private air ambulance is now our only option and will cost around of $90000.

Our family is working together to cover the costs but as a first generation immigrant family, our resources are few.

My mother always told me that she uprooted her life in the islands to move to Canada to raise a family in a land of prosperity. Please help me get Auntie Kathleen back to Canada safe and sound so she can receive the proper medical care she needs to recover. I just want her back home safe where I can care for her too.
