Help get Anna Lay cremation and memorial PLEASE!

My name is David Krahn and my mother Anna Marie Lay, sadly was struck by a car last Wednesday September 29thth of this year 2021,

I do have listed the news story below.

While crossing the road at Five Mile and Overland leaving my house she had gone to the store to get a soda and there was construction causing heavy traffic one way and no traffic the opposite way,

we believe the sun was in her eyes as she crosses the road she stepped out from behind a truck and was hit by a car doing approximately 35-40mph and it killed her instantly the coroner believes, they say that she probably didn't suffer and may not have even seen it coming. The driver did pull over and immediately called paramedics and they tried to revive her but she was already gone.

Anna, my Mom was a very kind and sweet lady, a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 6, she had a rough August to say the least, while at a park here in downtown Boise on August 7th she walked into the park bathroom and was assaulted by 3 young men waiting in the womens restroom at approx 6pm, they attempted to rape her but she did fight back, they smashed her over the head with a wine bottle and stole everything she had. One of the men was caught the other 2 are still being pursued by police, she suffered from a stroke and had bleeding in her brain as well as blood clots, was in surgical ICU for 3 weeks and although she was an EXTREMELY strong woman she was still recovering from this incident at the time of her death. we believe that the brain injury played a role in her being struck by the vehicle.

Anna Marie Lay did have a very happy last month on Earth and got to spend every day with my daughter Sophie and I, she had recently got a job again after recovering from her injuries and was working again and saving up to get an apartment, she was living with my father and I and helping take care of Sophie, her granddaughter (pictured) she did money saved up at the time of her death as it was spent on living expenses during her recovery,

She had just recently got her first paycheck from her new job and the first thing she did with it was take my daughter Sophie toy shopping and bought her the most expensive toy she wanted, a remote control My Little Pony Unicorn, paid her rent to my father and gave me money to get my girlfriend a birthday present, gave her other son money to pay his rent, and spent the rest helping those in her family that needed help and on a playground for Sophie.

Anna was a very giving, generous, and kind hearted woman who loved helping those in need and making people smile, she loved to take Sophie to feed the ducks around town, and go for bicycle rides and walks.
At this time our family and friends are trying to put together the money to get her Memorial and cremation, she is currently at the Ada County Coroners office waiting for us to make burial arrangements, she has very few living family members other than her children, we are putting forth all that we have but are still very far from what it will cost. I am hoping and praying that someone will be as generous to her as she was to all of us and help me get her properly cremated and have a memorial service for her and optimally a spot for her ashed next to her family.
