I'm Toni, a civilian (DoD teacher) living in Okinawa, Japan, working to support the military. In June, my family will be PCSing (relocating) and separating from service.

Military members and those who support them who own large breed pets face significant financial hardship when moving their furry friends. For our pets to join us at our new location, hiring a shipper to help is necessary. Shippers are extremely expensive, and in our case, the total amount it will cost to move our golden retriever from Okinawa to Albuquerque is over $6000.

Although asking for financial assistance is EXTREMELY outside of my comfort zone, my pup and I really are in a pickle. I need help covering the shipping costs associated with getting him home. Your help would be so very appreciated.
