Hello, my name is Andrea and I am creating this GoFundMe on Amy's behalf.

As many of you know, Amy and Chris shared a love that most of us take a lifetime searching for... and their love story was cut short by heartbreak and loss this past August.

Christopher Nitti lived a BIG life. One of his many adventures was hiking and completing the Appalachian Trail. He was inspired at a young age to hike this trail when visiting Mount Katahdin in Maine. This is where his final memorial will take place this summer. I would love nothing more than to be able to get Amy there... she needs to be there for her great love, to say this goodbye.

Amy is the first one to step up and step in. She is the one you call when you know you need support-personally, for your student or child, or your classroom. She is the mom that carries EVERYTHING for her children. She needs this time away to share in memories, joy, and sorrow with Chris's friends and family. Let's come together and support her now in this way.

The funds raised will support Amy with her travel and stay expenses while on the East Coast.
