Help Get Amy Back On Her Feet!

Amy is a Type 1 diabetic with multiple other illnesses that she fights everyday. November 6th presented a new fight for her, as she was taken to the hospital with a 104 fever, a foot that had become severely infected and what we knew was sepsis. Because of the infecrion in here foot, she had to have her first amputation on November 8th, her second amputation was November 12th and her final surgery on December 26th. She has been through so much the last few months.  She almost died twice, had the 3 surgeries to rid her lower leg of infection after infection by amputating. She's had hypothermia, sepsis twice and horrendous pain among other things. She has been through hell with the hospitals she has been in  with their neglectful care they gave her, as well as the neglectful care of 2 of her therapy centers. Their neglectful care resulted in multiple injuries and have caused her to have ptsd and anxiety. She's had blood transfusions to save her life, she's  had so many blood draws and antibiotics, that no one can keep track.

This strong girl of ours with her heart of gold now needs the help of others so that she may get a prosthetic leg and custom wheelchair that won't fail her. She also has a stack of medical bills that grows in size every week due to insurance not covering everything. She would never ask for help, but we will for her. We are so thankful Amy is home again and we are hoping to be able to raise enough money so that she can get back on her feet and not have to worry about the bills  during her healing.
