Help get Alfie to the UK!

Please see these comments from my friend, Sarah:

"This is Alfie, our wonderful cavapoo. Alfie was placed in our family in 2023 through the work of Comfort Connections as an emotional support dog to our three children who were survivors of a mass school shooting in Nashville, TN. We never could have imagined just how much joy and laughter Alfie would bring to our family. He has indeed been a source of comfort and laughter to our kiddos through all the ups and downs, grief, and fear that comes with enduring such a traumatic experience.

Our family is now moving to the UK for a job change and bringing Alfie with us is proving to be more expensive than we imagined! Due to strict regulations in the UK, Alfie has to be imported as cargo and cannot ride in the cabin of the plane with us. There are also required vet visits on both sides of the Atlantic, certificates, and third party employment for customs clearance. The quoted expenses for moving Alfie is roughly $7,000.

We would so appreciate any help you may be able to provide to help Alfie make it to the UK."
