~ Embracing Life Beyond Fear: Join the End-of-Life Revolution ~
By now, many of us have heard stories of near-death experiences and how profoundly they change people, eliminating their fear of dying and freeing them to live joyfully and courageously in the present.
Hi everyone, I’m Abigaile!
As a death doula, I’m dedicated to bringing peace to challenging situations. Since my own near-death experience in 2016, I’ve searched for a scientifically verifiable way to share the life-changing effects I experienced with others.
Finding Peace in the Face of Death
Before my near-death experience, I had postponed dealing with a health issue that threatened my life due to fear of facing my own mortality. I found myself paralyzed by terror and vulnerability whenever I tried to think of what to do. However, after a medical mishap and in the face of imminent death, I was overtaken by a radical joy and an encompassing peace. My fear dissolved, and I found myself filled with gratitude and joy.
After my near-death experience, the chronic depression that had defined my life since the age of nine never returned to clinically significant levels. I’ve discovered a profound sense of peace and connectedness to life that I draw on every single day.
There’s nothing I want more than to share that peace with others facing death.
My Ambition
My ambition is to facilitate research with the terminally ill, focusing on reducing the fear of death. I aim to collaborate with organizations like MAPS (the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) and their affiliates, applying my love for end-of-life care to the challenge of helping more people. Attending the MAPS Conference in Denver is crucial for furthering this goal.
Time is of the Essence!
The conference is just days away now, and I still need your support to make it happen. Together, we can contribute to the movement that brings careful and respectful use of psychedelic medicines to those who need their benefits the most!
MAPS and the Path Ahead
MAPS has been at the forefront of groundbreaking research in psychedelic therapies. By joining the MAPS community, I can combine my driving passions: sharing the benefits of near-death experiences with the terminally ill and contributing to the development and availability of these transformative treatments.
Funding Details
To attend the MAPS Conference, I need your support. With clever and compassionate planning, we’ve been able to eliminate the cost of lodging and reduce expenses. The breakdown of trip expenses is approximately $2950, covering conference admission, travel, and incidentals.
The Urgency of Change
It’s time to let go of fear and embrace the challenges we face as a human family. By accepting our mortality, we gain the clarity and strength to overcome obstacles and create a better world. Let’s be part of a revolutionary new valuation of human life, right up to its very end.
Conclusion
Any contribution you can make is tremendously appreciated! The funds will be used to cover travel expenses, conference admission, and incidental costs. Together, we can bring comfort, hope, and empowerment to individuals in their most vulnerable moments.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Abigaile Kaye Ehrlinspiel

Here’s the new breakdown of trip expenses, ~$2950:
• Conference ticket: $805 for general public admission to MAPS 2023
• Precon admission: “Psychedelic Therapy for End-of-Life and Palliative Care”: $295
• Car rental for approximately 2,500 miles round trip: ~ $800 (Recent air travel left me with days of vertigo and nausea. Luckily, I love to drive.)
• Gas for approximately 2,500 miles (72 gallons): ~ $300 (Based on 35 mpg of Nissan Versa, what I’m currently considering renting, and the average gas prices in LA and Denver.)
• Parking at the convention center: $150 ($25/day Monday to Friday)
• Animal care: $250 (I apologize if it sounds indulgent, but it’s an actual cost of travel.)
• Business cards: $25 (A must for networking.)
• Meals and miscellaneous expenses: $240 (~$30/day)
