Hi, my name is James, and this is our beloved dog, Storm. On Monday, Storm suffered a spinal stroke, which has left her unable to move her back legs. She’s always been a bright, friendly, and loving soul, and now she’s facing the hardest challenge of her life—but she’s a fighter.

Storm isn’t just a pet—she’s family. My 12-year-old son, Travis, adores her. They share a bond that is truly special; Storm has been his constant companion, his comfort, and his friend through everything. Seeing her struggle is heartbreaking for both of us, and we want to give her the best possible chance to recover so they can continue their adventures together.

Storm’s recovery depends on intensive physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, a custom wheelchair, and regular trips to the therapy centre. Every day that passes without treatment makes it harder for her to regain movement and independence. We want to act quickly so she has the best chance of walking again, staying healthy, and living a full, happy life.

Update: January 13 — Storm’s First Step to Recovery! ⚡

We have some wonderful news to share today, January 13—thanks to your incredible support, Storm officially started her Laser Therapy!

She was an absolute trooper during the session. For those who might not know, this treatment is a game-changer; it uses light energy to stimulate cell regeneration and significantly reduce inflammation without the need for invasive procedures.

Storm handled it like a pro and is currently settling in for a well-deserved nap. The vet mentioned that while some pups get a little "energy burst" afterward, others just need to recharge—and Storm is definitely in relaxation mode right now!

Your donations are making these critical treatments possible. We still have a road ahead of us with follow-up sessions, but seeing her take this first big step fills us with hope.
