Help get a new car after carjacking at gun point

Hi my name is Chelsea and my best friend of 22 years was carjacked at gunpoint on Friday afternoon at her place of work. She was at work and a group of kids drove into the parking lot of her job (Northgate Animal Hospital in Frayser) and broke into her car. She saw when they pulled up and was walking around her car via cameras inside the front office. She went outside thinking they needed assistance since it's not uncommon for someone to come to the animal hospital as a walk in. When she got to the area where her car was and where the kids were a gun was then turned on her and she was told to "BACK UP" or he would "ON HIS MAMA SHOOT HER". She immediately ran into the office and let her coworkers know to lock the doors and call 911.

The cops came and they even said "I KNOW THIS KID AND WHERE HE LIVES" He happened to just live across the street, the cops were able to arrest the kid and to everyones surprise he was only 13 years old!! This apparently was not his first rodeo and he and his friends have done this before numerous times. She was finally told where to find the car (they parked it behind a old abandon house) and when she got there they had tore up the inside and all of her belongings in the car they had thrown out and the kid cannot "remember where he threw it all". She lost groceries and tons of dog food (she rescues dogs from MAS that are on the euthenasia list). '

She managed to get it towed to her friends house and since has found out that the engine is completely locked up since they kids went off roading in it and the bottom of the car is caked with mud and torn off as well as the steering wheel column is torn up because with Kias you can tear that up and start the car without the key,

Insurance won't do anything because she had liability only and she got a verbal quote that it will cost "around $4,000.00" to replace the engine.

I started this GO FUND ME to help her because not only is that a lot of money but she has to do it all on her own. She selflessly rescues maimed dogs from the kill list to give them a second chance at life(at her own expense) and She works with countless rescues to find these animals their forever homes HECK she has even helped me with my dogs ( she is the reason that I have two).

She may get mad at me for creating this go fund me but she needs to know that we all care about her and want to help her! so please if you can lets help Amanda, whether she wants us to or not, get her car fixed and/or use the money for a down payment to get a different car.
